With you by my side

I am struggling with my fears,
for all those many nears,

that I’ve seen too many times before.

But with you by my side,
together we will ride,

so my fears may fade away once more.

I am hiding from reality,

for I do not require gravity,
to take my wings away.

But with you by my side,

I will stand strong and face the tide,
so my reality can become our day-to-day.

I am sheltering my heart,

for it has been torn apart,

and I can no longer withstand this painful sorrow.

But with you by my side,

I will challenge my own pride,
so that this broken heart can love again tomorrow.

A Essência de Ser

Ser ou não ser não e a questão.

O facto de eu ser não e uma opção.

Escolhido para existir de forma distorcida sem contexto temporal,

a minha realidade e omitida pela supremacia do banal.

Existo no âmbito de uma estagnação populacional.

A minha visão da realidade torna este mundo irreal.

Perdido numa existência que não consigo explicar,

procuro alguém que consiga ouvir a minha alma a gritar...

Busco um significado omitido na essência do ser.

Porem, esta busca frustrada não me permite viver.

Certezas? São poucas, alias, só tenho uma:

A minha existência não pode ser justificada por razão alguma.

Se ser implica conhecimento, considerem-me um Deus,

pois eu existo de todas as formas, para crentes e ateus.

There is something in the way you look at me,
a tenderness that no one else can see.

There is something in the way you look around,

you make me keep my feet down on the ground.

There is something in the way you sketch your smile,
that makes the pain of living seem worthwhile.

There is something in the way you hold my hand,
it seems as if I am sinking in the sand.

There is something in the way your eyes can shine,
if only these eyes I see, they could be mine.

There is something in the way your voice is heard,
I hear the gentle singing of a bird.

There is something in the way you say my name,
I hear it everyday, but it’s not the same.

There is something in the way when we are apart,
I feel an empty feeling in my heart...

Gaze at the sky
and find the sun.
Strive to fly,
but simply run.

Fight the tide
and find my way.
Search inside,
but drift away.

Seek to find
and look around.
Know I am blind,
but can be found.

Try to reach
and fail to hold.
Do not teach,
but wont be told.

Make an effort
and fail to succeed.
Refuse support,
but its all I need.

Open my eyes
and cannot see.
Do exist,
but cease to be.

Alone

It’s how I’ve always been,
it’s how I choose to be.

I am just another wave,
drifting through the sea.

One day I’ll find a place,
that I can call my own...

But until that day arrives,
I will never have a home.

It may be sad to you,
but it’s not sad to me...

I’ve broken all the chains,
this choice has set me free!

Mysterious Obsession

I know you like the palm of my hand.
I can read your eyes; I can spell your smile.
Call it a mysterious obsession,
a simple lack of possession...

but it surpasses the boundaries of your imagination.
It’s the encounter of two souls in a universe of time...
With unlimited equations and solutions,
a pattern of diverging distributions...

That can only equate when two becomes one.
But as much as I add, in our case its none.

Destiny has chosen to tell this tale in its own way.
But believe it or not, me and you will equate someday.

Woman, from Seed to Flower

A Flower among flowers sprouts from the most delicate seed.
Her sweet innocence is a breath of fresh air to a World in need.
She asks all the questions that leap through her curious mind,
for what we have ceased to ask, is what she still seeks to find.

As she unveils herself to this new found World, her dreams will begin to unfold.
This blossoming Flower craves for attention, but refuses to do as she is told.
She’s now found more Flowers and bonding together, they share what they know:
Those bees they see flying, do seek their honey, and will probably always do so.

Setting her sight on new horizons this Flower now gazes beyond her own sphere.
It is time to leave her Garden and challenge this World she has learned not to fear.
Aware of her beauty, she will choose her new path and stand strong on her ground.
Gone are the times when she went astray, the moment has come for her to be found.

She will plant her own seed and a journey through motherhood will begin,
Seeking for herself she is destined to understand the beauty from within.
A new bond is formed and the love that she feels has no definition.
It’s time to acknowledge her most primal instinct, a mother’s intuition.

Most dreams that she dreamt when she was blossoming have now become true.
She knows where she stands and the lessons she learned are her point of view.
The time has now come for the Flower to let its own seeds flourish and grow,
confident in her heart that she has taught them all they were willing to know.

The Flower has lived, laughed and cried and now looks back with no regret,
for her seeds will blossom, carry on her teachings and allow no one to forget.
From seed to Flower, she has lived how to learn and will always keep true,
This Flower I speak of is a Mother, a Wife, a Girlfirend, a Sister, this flower is YOU!

Tones of Black & Blue

The sun isn’t that bright,
the sky isn’t that blue,
the sea loses its might,
When my eyes don’t see you.

The World claims to know,
but they don’t have a clue.
How shadows cover colours,
in dark tones of black and blue.

And I wish they did,
I truly wish the knew...
So I could share this pain,
in tones of black and blue

Yet with you I go red...
Far away from black and blue,
as you hold me in your bed,
and make my dreams come true.
